Fist of the North Star feels like the perfect anime adaptation. It has the looks, the bloody combat sequences and the free roaming through the wasteland, with many collectibles, minigames and some surprises for Sega fans, although it doesn´t feel as polished as a Yakuza Game.

When it comes to making you feel like the coolest person around, Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise succeeds on every level. While its structure may borrow a little too heavily from the Yakuza series, combat is the real differentiator with unforgettable techniques that’ll really leave a mark and combos to finish off even the most foreboding of enemies. Those looking for their next dose of Japanese flair will most certainly be hooked, because Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise is everything we were hoping it would be.

Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise recreates the feeling of fighting and the charisma of the characters of Hokuto no Ken quite faithfully. The authors have conceded some creative freedom compared to the original material and this could annoy the fans, but the game developed by the authors of Yakuza manages to entertain the players despite its many flaws.

Even if Fist Of The North Star Lost Paradise feels a lot like a Yakuza game on a budget, it's still one of the best consoles games of Hokuto No Ken. A game clearly made for the fans of this hero.

A bizarre mix of Yakuza and hyper violent 80s anime that never really makes much sense but still offers some enjoyable surprises.

One of the most fulfilling Fist of The North Star games yet. It runs on the Yakuza 0 engine, but often times doesn't feel like it. KenshiroOne of the most fulfilling Fist of The North Star games yet. It runs on the Yakuza 0 engine, but often times doesn't feel like it. Kenshiro flows between enemies more fluidly and overall the action is more exciting. The minigames are stupidly fun, but I won't go into great detail to avoid spoilers. If you are a yakuza fan, definitely grab this when you can. If you're a Fist of The North Star fan, then this is a MUST. Here's hoping to more and improved games in the future. Ryu Ga Gotoku studios do not disappoint. Expand

Even if you aren't a fan of the anime i'm positive you''ll enjoy the story and game-play. The story doesn't really have to do with the anime so anyone can play it and get what's going on. OH and the game-play is exactly like Yakuza so its safe to say its very nice :). I say its a very good game to pick up if your in the mood for something crazy and gory! Expand

Addictive minigames, excellent free-roam, awesome substories and cool racing mechanics. The story was great. As someone new to anything Fist of The North Star, it was a perfect introduction. This is a Yakuza title with a Fist of the North Star lore.

My only critique of this game applies if you're interested in getting the trophies - the grind is real, to a fault.

I want to make a special note of the massive replay value of this game as there is an optional area with really powerful enemies and rare materials exceeding the difficulty of the main story - you are well-rewarded for your curiosity.

As usual, Ryu Ga Gotoku studios impressed and to fellow Yakuza fans, you will feel right at home with the Yakuza mechanics and the voice cast - yet you will be playing a different kind of adventure. This is what a good spinoff is.

As for my review this game is basically Yakuza with a Fist of the North Star skin. That is really the best way to put it.

Mini games are fun and good time wasters. The only issues I have is I get hung up on npc's or walls every now and again, but that's about it really.

Pretty much Yakuza with Fist of the North star mixed in with it. Despite that, this game is actually good.

This game is really embarrassing. All the same. Artificial intelligence is pathetic and the music is not original
